Ipe Herringbone Coffee Table
I’ve been working on this table’s design for quite a while, and am very happy to have finally finished it. And man oh man did it turn out gorgeous.
It’s made from a Brazilian hardwood called “Ipe” (pronounced ee-pay) that, as you can tell from the photos, has a beautiful range of hues - yellows, reds, and browns. I hand cut each piece to fit together in a herringbone pattern and tried to randomize the tones as much as possible. The frame and legs are also made of Ipe.
The dimensions are 38”L x 21”D x 18”H
